How to Change a Continuous Cord Loop on common Clutch Controls.
(Same instructions apply for Chain Loops)

(All continuous cord and chain loops are replaced in the same manner, your actual clutch control may vary)

Remove the shade from it's brackets and set it on a workable surface.
Pull the control out the end of the shades tube.
Remove the cover on the side of the clutch control covering the cord.
To remove the old cord loop from the control hold one end up and out (Diagram 4)
while pulling down on the other end till completely removed (Diagrams 4, 3, 2).
Place the new cord into the first couple teeth (Diagram. 2) then pull the cord
all the way around till it comes out the other end (Diagrams 3, 4, 5).
Reinstall the clutch controls cap.
Reinsert the control back into the shades tube.
Re-hang the shade and test the cord by pulling the shade up and down a few times.
